Amanda Sedlak-Hevener is a Northeast Ohio native. She has an M.A. in History from the University of Akron and an M.L.I.S. in Museum Studies from Kent State University. She comes to us from Spring Hill Historic Home where she spent three years as an intern, curator, and researcher. During her time there, she and the Director of Spring Hill, Samantha Kay Smith, won a 2016 Ohio Museum Association Best Exhibition (Under $500,000) award for their Victorian Mourning exhibit: Mourning Arvine Wales: Death in the 1800s.
